DEPUTY MAYOR

MILOS BANDJUR

 

Milos Bandjur was born on September 16, 1966 in Pristina.

He completed elementary school and first two years of secondary vocational education in Kosovo Polje, and the next two years of secondary school in Secondary Vocational Electro- technical School Miladin Popovic in Pristina.

He graduated from University of Pristina Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 1993 with GPA of 9.43, which ranked him among some of the best students of the faculty since its establishment. In 2001 he completed his post-graduate studies at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Electrical Engineering Department of Digital Information Transfer with GPA of 10 attaining the

Master of Science Degree in electrical engineering field of digital data transmission. He completed his doctoral studies in 2008 and earned the title of the Doctor of Technical Sciences in the field of electrical engineering.

 

Milos Bandjur began his university career in 1994 at the Electrical Engineering Faculty in Pristina. He was appointed the docent at the Department for Telecommunications and Information Systems at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Kosovska Mitrovica in 2009. He was appointed the docent at the Department of Information Systems at Alfa University in Belgrade in 2011. In 2014 he was appointed the title of associate professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Kosovska Mitrovica. He is lecturer and mentor at all levels of studies – undergraduate, masters and doctoral. Milos Bandjur is the author of more than 40 scientific papers published in scientific journals (SCI) or presented at scientific meetings. He participated in three scientific projects.

 

From 2012 to 2016, he was the member of Nis City Council responsible for public utilities and energy sector.

 

He has been a member of the Serbian Progressive Party since its founding.
He is fluent in Russian.
