Sanja Stojančić was born in 1981 in Niš, where she finished elementary and high school. She enrolled at the University of Niš Faculty of Law in 2000 and graduated in 2008 from Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad in 2008. She passed the state professional exam in 2010. She obtained her master degree in 2020 at the Faculty of Law, University of Niš.
From 2004 to 2006 she worked in the Administration for Civil Status and General Affairs of the City of Niš. Since 2009 she has been working as a law graduate at the Gerontology Center in Niš. Since 2004 she has been the associate of the non-governmental organization YUROM Center from Niš where she took an active part in the implementation of projects.
She has participated in numerous professional educations and specialist certified trainings in the field of labor relations, safety and health at work and public procurement. She participated in the annual seminar organized by the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence in 2009/2010 with the support of the Council of Europe.
Since 2013 she has been a member of the Chamber of Social Welfare for performing legal tasks in the social welfare sector.
In 2017 she was appointed the City of Niš Ombudsman.
She speaks English. She is married and she is the mother of two children.
